Insert the Images in to Image Library

Hi All,

I have some list of Images to be uploaded to the IGFolder & IGImage tables and want to use these Images while calling a portlet.
Can any one give me a pointer how to upload these Images Is there any Portlet avaliable with liferay as outbox functionality?
I know how to get this Images using the ImageLocalUtilService class.

As an out of box functionality, there is "Image Gallery" application that you can add. When you upload images using the portlet igimage table is updated with the information of the image that you upload.
