How to insert link to the file in document library

Hi,

I'm new to the Liferay and I'm trying to create my pages in Liferay. All is ok, I created new layouts, template and the new pages looks very good. But I have problem with adding the links to files in my document library.

When I haved logged to the Liferay and click in Control panel to the Documenty library I can create some directories and put some files. All works good. I saw the combo button scope: I have 2 scopes (www, guest) and sometime I find the "My community" scope.

So, when I'm trying to create content with link to the attached files and can't find any combo box to change the scope. I hope the problem is there, because the selected files are read from the "My community" scope. When I try to add all is ok but when I leave staging and try to display the attached link I get the

You do not have permission to access the requested resource.

I think this is because I need to select scope guest, or www.

So, can somebody help me please ?

UPDATE 1: Now I can select the community, because I wasn't the member of the community. But, I tried to add a file from all 3 communities and still "You do not have permission to access the requested resource.".

Solved.


The problem is in permissions of the user guest.
I have set the permission for the guest as displayed below (sorry for the formating).

I thing that some of the permission I have set are not required, but this is working and I have no time to optimalize this list.

So, write me your result.

The answer is that "Guest" does not have "Document Library Document" "View" permissions by default.
