change portlet (conten display) depending on role

guest user should be able to see the web form

once guest logs in, the same tab as above should display a content portlet

this is on the guest community.

is this possible ?

i cant seem to disallow the guest to see the content after they log in, even though i removed guest view from the portlet.

guest refers to person who has no authorization credentials (i.e.., not logged in person) . If he logs in, he is no more a guest , he is now User

however when i mark a portlet to be viewable to guests only the user can still see it once they log in.

I have observed this problem in all public pages. By default user will have guest permission also in public pages. Because when i removed guest view permission also then that portlet is not displayed..
