Community Language Change

Hello everybody,
Im having some trouble. I started to build a guest community and introduced some data. Now im trying to change the default start language on the portal by modifying the system-ext.properties. However, it ignores that file and continues to render the first default language. Am I missing something? Is there any other change I should do?

Im working on a Liferay 5.2.2.

I think you have to set the propertie into the system.properties (or something similar file) also.

I did that already as I said. Im actually testing to change the language property for the default user. Anyway, Im missing something here.

Clear your cookies. If you've put these two lines in system-ext:

user.country=
user.language=

then everything should be OK. If you had default en_US then there is a cookie in your browser that says you want page in this language.

I did that, but that solves for new communities. Not for existing ones.

Kind of silly the solution is ;-)
I have solved it by selecting the default language for the portal in portal configuration (in control panel).
