Developing external portlet

Hi!

I'm trying to develope an external portlet with the Liferay plugin.
I create a Portlet as a new deployable War, and it generates me an Action, but not a PortletAction, so, I've just to develope an Struts application and then deploy it at Liferay?
I can't see the use of the Portlet API in that way.

Thanks, it seems to be that I need.

But, it will works in 4.2 version? I'll see it, if it doesn't work I'll come back !
