MyEclipse with Liferay IDE CE vs EE

My organization has an EE license and we are using Liferay 6.0.x. I have tried to use the Liferay Developer Studio 1.3 which is shipped with Liferay 6.0-ee-sp1 SDK and have had issues with the IDE running very slow. More importantly, I have used MyEclipse for years and would miss a lot of the functionality it provides. Therefore, I've decided to use MyEclipse 10 in congunction with Liferay IDE configured to work with the Liferay EE SDK. I'm curious about what EE functionality, if any, I would loose if I run with this setup?

For your setup, you would not lose any EE functionality.

Gregory,

Your work with the IDE's is great. If I copy the following folders and jars into my drop-ins folder will I gain any functionality or break my MyEclipse install?

com.liferay.studio.eclipse.doc_1.2.0.vx
com.liferay.studio.eclipse.product_1.2.0.vx
com.liferay.studio.eclipse.product.branding_1.2.0.vx.jar
com.liferay.studio.eclipse.server.ee.tomcat.core_1.2.0.vx.jar
com.liferay.studio.eclipse.server.ee.tomcat.ui_1.2.0.vx.jar
com.liferay.studio.eclipse.server.ee.websphere.core_1.2.0.vx.jar
com.liferay.studio.eclipse.server.ee.websphere.ui_1.2.0.vx.jar

I doubt it would work but you can give it a try.
