liferay 6.0.6 Password Changed Notification

I have got my liferay portal sending the user a password reset link but would it be possible to send the user his/her new password when they actually change their password.
I have the "Allow users to change passwords" checkbox checked and there is a password changed notification template but how is this used or which setting do i need to change to enable it..
