Transfering portal from 1 server to another server

Hi everybody there,
I am having requirement to shift LR6.0.6 based portal from one server to another .
Can anybody tell me the steps to transfer website from 1 server to another server.
I have already installed a fresh liferay instance over there on the new server . I have uploaded the custom portlets and database.
Everything is working fine . i.e I am able to access my portal with all functionality .
But the documents which I have uploaded on the old server are not available.
So can anyone tell me the process of getting all the documents on old server to new server.

You have to copy data folder of your liferay bundle to new one.

Cant i do it from the server administration portlet in control panel..

No. you have to copy.
btw have to tried lar export import.
