duplication of data in the active directory

Hi,
When we use LDAP to import users, I want to reduce redundancy and duplication of data. this is with regards to the LDAP integration with Active Directory

Hi,

Wen I import users to Liferay, I am sure the User Local Service will take care to check whether a duplicate user is being inserted.

Could you please let me know a way where I can avoid inserting duplicate users when I import users to Active Directory?

Hi Veena,

LDAP server maintains the same. you dont need to do that.

And I dont think there will be a possiblity of this ever. because import users to Active Directory is indirectly a Export to LDAP.
