Deployment Ext on Production Liferay 6.1

Hello Liferay Gurus,

Let us know if any of you have deployed EXT on production server without plug-in environment .

I have followed following steps for deploy EXT on another Local Server Box.

> Deploy Ext in local System using Command: ant clean deploy
> Copy .war file from dist folder.
> Shutdown Server.
> Paste .war file in tomcat/Deploy folder.
> Then Start server .
> Not getting Changes.
> Then again Restart the server .
> Get changes.

Is it right way to deploy it???
Any have better idea then please share with us.

Hi Dilip,

Refer Liferay Document Guide as well, there are some ways given for deployment of EXT in production/pre-production environment.
Not sure whether its better to go with.
