Redirect Unauthenticated Users to Login Screen

Junior Member Postagens: 30 Data de Entrada: 13/04/12 Postagens Recentes
I have created a private site for my liferay setup. However, I have noticed that when you enter the address to the private site into the url bar, it brings you to the site whether you are signed in or not. Is there some way that I can force unauthenticated users to the login screen when they attempt to view pages in the private site?

Remove guest access to the page.

I'm afraid that I'm fairly new to liferay. Could you be more specific? How do I go about doing that? Will I have to do that for every page inside the site or is there some way to remove guest access from the entire site?

Go to manage menu, then page. For each page, click the permissions button at the bottom and remove guest view permission.

Hi,
Did the same but when the user is directed to login page it is not retaining the language. It is displaying the login page in other language than the current selected language.
Actually we are supporting two languages. Any help?

to answer my own question, i found that is a liferay issue, if you create sites with a template

https://support.liferay.com/browse/LPS-24888

the workaround, create a blank site, and blank pages... then you should see the login page if a guest tries to acces it

hope it helps someone emoticon

I just checked Liferay 6.1.0 GA1 and "Guest" role isn't included by default on private pages. Have to modified any settings?
