SMS MAIL ALERTS IN LIFERAY

Hi All,

Is there any possiblity to configure sms and mail "alerts" in portlet

"when ever a user logs in and presses a button like submit he should get the mail and sms alert is such confuguration possible with liferay"

please explain

SMS is usually handled by sending an email to an address for the phone.

can it be done like scheduling or some kind of alert functionality

Well I'm not aware of any built-in alerting sort of functionality, but certainly if it is your code you can send an email when a user clicks a button...
