Is there a search container (<liferay-ui:search-container>) example project available, preferably using Liferay users as the data source? All I want is to display custom fields on a contact search portlet. The Directory one is too 'heavy', plus you need to be an administrator for it to be actually display any user information. I ant to show some user information (name, department, telephone number plus a few custom fields), regardless of whether the user is logged in or simply a guest.
My knowledge of Java at this point is fairly limited, I come from an ASP.NET background.
