No Net access on LR server, causes issues...

The server that LR is running, has no access to anywhere except for the DB server.
I have tried this setup with mysql and mssql,
I can not create any Discussion Board Categories, nor add any Web content.

is there any valid reason for this ?

This is with LR 6.1.

There's no obvious reason why this would not work. Those entities are stored in the database which you say Liferay has access to.

You'll have to go to the logs and find out what failures are occurring before we could even hope to help resolve this problem...

Issue is with the browser not with the lack of net access


disregard
