How to import Portlets In Action Source code as LR projecrt in IDE..??

Hi All !!

i have downloaded Ashish Sarin's PORTLETS IN ACTION complete source code. I am Using LR6 with Tomcat Bundle and LR Eclipse IDE. I tried with importing as a project, then copying manually by creating a liferay project in Eclipse IDE. Can u guys help me in this....???

You should paste the portlets in liferay-sdk/portlet section and same with themes, hooks, and layouts

This way you can just import your portlet or any other plugin from eclipse directly.

but the project does not have structure like Liferay projects......i mean no docroot n all.......

I have a similar problem.
In that book, we must to build project by Ant or Maven, and then copy .war file into deploy folder in Liferay.
But I want import those project like created Liferay project by Eclipse:

By this way, I can easier to deploy
How can do it ?

I ended up creating a new Liferay project in IDE and copying files to appropriate directories in the project. The book is using Liferay as an example but it a pity it isn't using IDE.
