how to find the categories an asset publisher is associated programmaticall

Can you let me know how I can find programmatically the categories associated in an asset publihsher using confguration->add category selector ?

Can you give more explanation?? do you want to access the database through java methods to get categories that correspond to a specific condition?

It is known that we can invoke web content creation screen from asset publisher using "Add New ".On doingthis i should be able to populated the categories which were associated in an asset publisher on doing categories selection via its configuration.So all in all I wnat to know how for an asset which has categories populated , how can i programaticlay find these categories so that I can populate web comntent screen with these categories.
