frequently used link

I create custom portlet using JSF & ICEFACES.

In a page left side there is a navigation portlet containing some link of another portlets.

now on the basis of clicking each link .... I need commonly used link.... commonly used link mean how many time a user click a particular link

How do i get that???????

check the implementation of wiki / documents portlet. There is one column called "viewCount" is there for these portlets in AssetEntry table.
