Blogs Entry Navigation Improved

As of trunk revision 29951, there is now a way to get to the next and previous blog entry from the blogs entry view page.

What is the communities thoughts on the previous and next button placement? I'm open to suggestions if it's not obvious enough. Perhaps move it to the top?

Blogs
The only thing that would annoy me is having to scroll down a long boring blog post to get to the "NEXT" link.

Okay, our UI guru Nate Cavanaugh has redone it, the picture reflects the new changes. To see more about what Nate's up to, check out his blog here:

Thats great feature, however we will appreciate if we have categories in Blogs because tagging does not serve the actual requirement.
Hey Navin.

We used to have categories in blogs, but after a long discussion with the community we decided to drop them in favor of tagging. What is your argument for bringing them back?
as a long time Wordpress user, and about 15 years of web content development with miriads of systems, let me assure you that both tagging and categorization are needed in the real world, as, of course, a way to use them; I mean: with every blog in liferay, there should be a way to filter it by category or by tag

now that taxonomies are in with v5.3, ... it would be nice to have'em also in blog entries and a way to filter blog entries by category
We need to make the most of that taxonomy capability. My client's requirement is needing to use category navigation with Blogs, Wikis, Documents and Articles. How can we effectively use the taxonomy capabilities if nothing hooks up to them? This will be the same in any large organization, community or website.
A fine question Brant. In 5.3.0+ you will see that we have really changed around tagging and categorization to do exactly that... You will start seeing categorization in many more places in the portal, not just wikis and web content like now.
