Layout Templates allow you to choose how portlets will be arranged on a page. They are simple table or CSS-based containers into which portlets can be dropped and sit within the body of the page. Liferay Portal comes with several built-in layout templates, 10-90 Layout is something which is not available out of box in liferay portal. This layout will provide 10-90 columns structure for portlet arrangement in a portal page.
