porlet specific fumction

Hi all,

I have developed a sales porlet which have many functions like create invoice,reports genration, etc.How can i restrict these function for a specicfic user.

for example i wany some user can only show report genration and some can create invoice.
I was trying by creating diff roles. in define permission section of roles how can i get these functions of portlet
