Monitoring error codes

what specific error messages are generated within Liferay when errors occur?.

The background is as follows:

This information will be used with our central event management system (SCOM) to manage an application. The SCOM server will be used to receive triggers based on specific Liferay error events.

Are the error messages generated (i.e. Health checks for when things go wrong) written to either log files or the event viewer.

I am keen to capture these errors with codes (plus resolutions) and threshold values to help with performance.

Please can you assist

So Liferay does not have a built-in health check, that is usually something that you define in your environment.

I have no idea what kind of error codes/messages you're talking about.

For most Liferay failures, exceptions will be generated and written to the Liferay logs. It would be possible to use an ELK stack to process the logs and export error details to display in Kibana.
