Cannot get Liferay v.6.0 (Tomcat 6) to appear.

Hi, i need some help and i can't find anything on the internet.
My school has a site that uses Liferay version 6.0.6, old version of course, but they don't want to upgrade. I'm in charge to "update" the look of the site by making a new theme but i cannot get portal 6.0.6 to work. I struggled setting up the properties file but now i cannot get past the server set up. "Liferay v6.0 (Tomcat 6)" it's supposed to appear when i create a new Server in Eclipse but it doesn't, the lowest version is Liferay v6.2 (Tomcat 7) and in consecuence i cannot start a 6.0.6 portal. How can i install/make Liferay v6.0 (Tomcat 6) to appear in my servers?
I have the 1.7 and 1.8 jdk and jre of java if that helps.
I was able to set up a 6.2 portal and i could make a theme and everything worked fine, but when i deploy it to my school server it doesn't appear even if i change the compatibility in the look-and-feel.xml file so i decided to set up a 6.0.6 portal but i can't because of that.
