Different user having same role is not able to modify the folder in D&M

Hi ,

I have requirement like this if a folder is created in Document & Media portlet by a user so that another user which is having same role can also delete and edit that folder.

But right now i think its not possible. Is there a way we can achieve it by permissions?

Hey Akash,

Yes, you can set the permissions for the folder when you create it in Documents and Media. If you just want a default regular role user, such as a power user or site member to be able to manage the folder, you can set that in the permissions panel when creating the folder, or you can select permissions from the actions menu for the folder and set them afterwards. You can also create a new regular role and give that role permissions on the folder as well.

You can find more information on creating roles and permissions in our User Guide here:

Hope this helps,

Mike
