Best practices for migration of spring portlet to liferay 7

Hi,

I already have porltet plugin which was build in 6.2 using ant build tool. I want to migrate it with the Liferay 7.

I have already tried to upgrade code with the latest IDE where there are inbuilt support of migration. But I am already facing some of the issues with the dependencies and some configuration. I am not sure if I am missing something. Can anybody provide the best practices to keep in mind specially for LIFERAY 7.

Your help would be appreciated.

Hi Shyam,

Your question is much too broad for anyone to be able to help, which is probably why no one has bothered to reply so far.

Absent details, all I can say is that Liferay 7 will automatically convert your Spring-based portlet to a WAB and run it as-is. Try that first. If it works, you don't need to migrate it at all.
