Liferay Setup with Glassfish

Hi Friends,

I need Liferay 6.1 setup with glassfish 3.1.2 and i want to know the root folder for that(I heard Liferay Home is three folders above your GlassFish domain folder).

It's usually the folder above the Glassfish folder. However, you can specify this folder using the portal property "liferay.home".

Hi Samuel,
I am generated war file by click on portlet-->SDK-->Deploy.Then i deployed that war in glassfish server but the portlet is not showing in sample folder.Please help me

Are you getting any error messages in the logs? Is the WAR actually getting copied to the /deploy folder (i.e., did you properly configure Liferay IDE)?
