I have a site where we have disabled Edit Controls for non-Administrator users. I've created a public user group page for users who write blogs, and put a Blogs portlet on it. I have created a role for these users with the following permissions scoped for their personal site:
Blogs
- Add Entry
- Permissions
Blogs Entry
- Delete
- Update
Users can create blogs, but can't edit them, delete them, or change their permissions. It looks like the only way the "Edit," "Delete" and "Permissions" links will appear in the Blogs portlet is if the "Edit Controls" box is checked, but this is disabled for non-admins on our site. Is there any other way to enable user editing of blogs?
