How to change circle icon for initial name

There is an icon for initial name in Liferay. (Refer on attachment)
The initial name comes from first name and last name.
As shown in picture because first name was "Test" and last name was "Test" display icon become "TT"
My question is can I change setting for that initial?
For example :
first name "Jason" and last name "Mark" in common that circle icon will display "JM"
I want change display "JM" into "Mark" or "Jason"
or maybe if possible change it into screen name.
It is possible to change it?
If yes how to change that?
Using liferay control panel? Or I should add portal-ext.properties?

You can't change the initials, but you can go to your account settings and upload a profile picture. It will be used to replace the initials. Now if the picture says "Mark"...

Thank you for your response.
So the conclusion is impossible to change it.
I want to change it because I set language in Japanese.
In Japanese language little bit difficult because Japanese kanji if combine with another can give different meaning.
For example :
first name "村川"
last name "田中"
Icon display become "村田" and to be honest it will give different meaning.
That's why I want to change.

Maybe in the next future liferay will give feature to set that.

Make sure you check for a ticket on this, I believe there was some discussion about the initials and japanese characters already. If you can't find a ticket, be sure to open one so it gets fixed.

Note that your first request for changing to "Jason", well that would not be ideal. The letters are white so they appear on the colored background; if you have more letters than space on the circle it would just end up looking bad. The initials were meant to give a short version that definitely will fit in the circle for everyone.

The japanese interpretation of the characters is a valid concern, I could see where that might lead to some misunderstanding.

Thank you for your response.
I already check ticket for this.
I found some discussion about Japanese character but I could not find about initials.
I will create a new one to solve this issue.

About my first request I understood about the function of that initials.
Just give illustration to make it easy to understand.
