I need to be able to assign 2 images to a single page.
With "icon" feature I can assign one image, but how can I link 1 more?
What is the best way to have 2 images assigned to a page (to be used in templates)?

The Icon image show on Navigation menu and I don't think you will show two images on navigation 
Generally, number of pages are limited and managed by few peoples. So the simplest way is add custom fields on page and upload your images in document media. Now you can use value of custom fields in your hooked jsp. But maybe there are other best solution according to your requirements.
