Eliminating white space

Hi there,Curious if anyone can help me.
Is there a way to eliminate white space with nested portlets?
I've attached an image of what I am trying to do. With the nested portlet I have chosen, there is so much white space. I want the tabs at the bottom to be closer together but I cannot figure out how to adjust.
Any tips??
My search bar at the top is also in a portlet, I would love for it to be closer to the image as well to eliminate some of that white space..

Hi Jessie,

After turning off Edit Controls you can inspect (browser dev tools) the page objects that are responsible for that empty space and override their CSS (margin, padding, display) on your theme or on the portlet config.

I dont have access to edit the theme. Is this something I can fix without being a developer?
I only have basic edit controls and have limited developer help.

You can inspect the HTML with chrome dev and then apply some custom CSS to the page (using out of the box feature of liferay).
You need btw some basic CSS knowledge.. Is your website public? Can you share or PM the link?
