Site Member cant see RSVP(Yes-Maybe) for an event added in Calendar Portlet

Hi,

I followed the following steps:

1) I added an event using the calendar portlet as an Administrator.
2) I sent invitation to user1 (Site Member)
3) When I logged in as user1 and clicked on the event created by the Administrator, user1 had no option to RSVP(Yes -Maybe-No).

I have attached the screenshots for these steps as well.

Please help.
