How to call a Spring controller from theme Or say how to call struts action from theme??? Please give some example

Why would one want to do so? A theme is for look&feel, should render as quickly as possible and not cause any activities. If you want to embed any links in the theme, I'd opt for embedding a portlet that does the trick.

I have a link in a theme . when clicking this link it has to go to controller and do some some action. How can we achieve?
