custom_jsps directory location

I just noticed that the during creation of a jsp hook from IDE, the default location for custom_jsps folder in a hook is META-INF/custom_jsps.

Just curious to know, any particular reason why this folder is in META-INF.

You can have them anywhere. And the JSPs are actually not required in the hook's context at runtime, because they're physically copied into the portal's context. But just the anywhere should be a good hint that it doesn't matter.

Thanks a lot Olaf for the reply. Exactly and that's why i asked the question that if there was any particular reason. I know its just nitpicking but it just doesn't look good in META-INF considering the purpose of META-INF folder.
