How Sort recent document in Portlet Document and media display

Hello,
I add a new column "Modify date" to Portlet document and media dispaly and i need to sort list of recent document in the same portlet by date!!!!
i have Liferay 6.2 ce GA4
Any suggestions please


any help would be greatly appreciated
