How to use tomcat temp in Liferay 7

Hi Folks,
Before liferay 7 we can use tomcat\temp\any-application to make changes in resources like JS/CSS/JSP.
But now because of osgi, they are zipped/jarred.
So now if want to make changes and want to see them without deployment, how can I do that?
Regards,

You could, but luckily that's over now. The only thing it does is to create an unreliable, unmaintainable and unreproducible mess. You should rather be happy that nobody else can now mess with your application without properly deploying a plugin. That's what you want. Thanks for the reminder that another backdoor for unreproducible behaviour is closed.

So fixing a single-letter typo in a jsp file needs a full redeployment of a whole plugin (which may be like 10 Mb), do I understand this correctly?
And is there any alternate way to modify a jsp page (or a .vm page) on-the-fly? Do we have a dev-mode kind of thing for a faster development changes? Please tell me there is -)
Regards,
Artem

if you want to do it in a maintainable, reproducible way: Yes - it always did. There might be hacked ways around it. But they're hacks. And they're certainly not vetted by any support - be it paid support or anyone here providing it for free.

Are you looking to fix a single typo or are you generally hacking away? For fixing a single typo, redeployment times shouldn't matter. For general development you can run Liferay from the IDE of your least distrust in a debugger and work on modules that way.
