How to edit a web content from asset publisher when using custom ADT?

How to get the option to edit web contents shown in the asset publisher from asset publisher directly, when using a custom ADT (asset display template)?

There's no option for that, you have to add an edit link/icon to your ADT yourself. You can find an example in the demo asset publisher template "Rich Summary" which can be found in global site. There's a "getEditIcon" macro in there which gives you an edit icon.
