PrimeFaces vs RichFaces vs IceFaces vs Liferay Alloy Faces

Can anyone post the comparison of PrimeFaces vs RichFaces vs IceFaces vs Liferay Alloy Faces and when to use which framework, I expect comparisons based on 1.ease of use, 2.good UI/UX, 3. performance, 4.faster learning curve.

Hi Syed,
Full Disclosure: I am a Liferay developer, and I helped write Liferay Faces Alloy. That being said, I think I can still give you some helpful advice. First I would say that all these component suites are easy to use, well designed, well tested, and well documented. So any of them would be a good choice, but there are some other important factors to consider.

• RichFaces is in maintenance mode and RedHat is no longer adding new features. RichFaces has reached End-of-Life status. The final version is RichFaces 4.5.17.Final.
  
• IceFaces 3.3 is compatible with portlets, but there are some open issues that prevent the latest releases of IceFaces (4.0 and 4.1) from working in a portlet environment at this time. We are currently working with the IceFaces team to remedy this. IceFaces 4.1.1 is compatible with portlets now as well.
  
• PrimeFaces is very popular, and it is a fantastic component suite.
  
• However, (bias incoming ) if you want a component suite which has been designed with portlets in mind and integrates seamlessly with Liferay themes and styles, then I would recommend Liferay Faces Alloy. (Plus we are always ready to answer your questions in the forums.)
  

As I said initially, all of these suites are good, so I would recommend looking at their showcases and prototyping a simple project to determine which you like the most.
