I have a very simple Use Case: Liferay Portal is accessible via the WWW and I would like to expose a web application running locally on JBoss that is not accessible through WWW. I tried the IFrame, but it does not enable you to access any local web apps (local servers) unless the Web app is itself accessible via WWW.
Is there a portlet that enables you to access a local web application? Or is there a way to implement this feature without programming a portlet from the ground up?
