Liferay and CAS without LDAP?

Is it possible to setup Liferay 5.2.x to use CAS without an LDAP server?

That is, once the user is authenticated, you would think liferay could be configured to complete the user creation by asking the user for the missing profile information instead of looking for an LDAP server.

Possible?

Hi Joe:
it seems possible, but you'll have to develope custom code for that: it won't work out-of-the-box.

I think you'll have to develope a plugin that "listens" the user's logins and that does a check to see if the system has all the user info
