I know in SharePoint I have used roll-ups to gather data for the calendar and other webparts from different SharePoint sites. Can the same thing be done in Liferay?
My site in an intranet and I would like to have the calendar and announcements sections on the home page pull in all data from the calendars and announcement lists from all the organizations.
If it hasn't been done, I figure it still can be, I will just have to figure out the database configuration better so I can write a php app for it - but if there is something already in place - hey, I am all for making it easier
