Breadcrumb in Site Template - wrong URL

I am using version 6.0.4. I have been setting up site templates to use for our organizations and have come across an odd issue. On all pages that were not created by those Site Templates, the breadcrumbs are perfect. BUT - when I create a site template, the base link - the link on the left is automatically set up to http:localhost:8080/ rather than the actual URL - so of course, when clicked it throws an error - no such page exists. But all the other links on the breadcrumb are perfectly set up.

Is there an easy way to fix this easily?

And as an extra-aside - we are using it on a virtual machine - so I cant just go into Server Administration and make the change there - it isn't available.
