OpenId login problem

HI
Is it possible to login using openId to Liferay portal 5.1.2 or 5.2.3 with out any configuration of OpenId in portal?
I have OpenId account with myopenId and verisign. However i couldnot login to portal using those openIds.

the error i got is
"You have entered invalid data. Please try again. "

i checked in admin portlets for openid configuration it is enabled.

can any body help regarding this?

Hi
I have found the problem. Problem was firewall settings of our company. It was not allowing my OpenId Consumer program to communicate with yadis server on the internet.
