build services issues ; build services vs workspace classpath difference

I have Liferay IDE 1.6.2 ; for CE v6.1.1

workspace shows no errors based on classpath, but on 'build' of services I get many of the following (build via viewing service.xml via 'Overview' and building

The import com.liferay.portal.kernel.dao.orm.BaseActionableDynamicQuery cannot be resolved
BaseActionableDynamicQuery cannot be resolved to a type

The method setClass(Class<MyEntity>) is undefined for the type MyEntityActionableDynamicQuery

BUILD FAILED
C:\...\build-common-plugin.xml:227: The following error occurred while executing this line:
C:\..\liferay-plugins-sdk-6.1.1\build-common.xml:95: Compile failed; see the compiler error output for details.

(note that I tried to move to v6.1.1+ sdk (which i think should be called v6.1.2) and then rolled back ; can't find the change causing this

deleting the following folders and building services again solved the problem

liferay-plugins-sdk-6.1.1/*services-portlet/WEB-INF/services
liferay-plugins-sdk-6.1.1/*services-portlet/WEB-INF/classes
