Hi,

At the moment I have two liferay portals and in each I have a different website.

My question is this, Is it possible to move an entire site with its pages, portlets ... etc, from a Liferay Portal to another entirely?, If so how is it done?

Thanks for the help

A greeting

Ya it is possible in many ways.

Go to control panel, go to web content, click on export/import, export it in lar file and import in another portal. This will copy your web content and images. For portlet, you will have to deploy all war file in new portal. Make database configuration changes if required. This is one of the way.

Thank you
Dharmesh

HI Alfonso,

You can't import or export whole site at one time,
You can achieve it step by step,
1) export the public page in .lar file and import that in public page of another site.
2) export the private page in .lar file and import that in private page of another site.
3) now deploye the portlets mannually to new site as previous.
