issue with mail integration with liferay 6.1

Hi All,

I am using mail functionality with gmail smtp server.I have done the configuration in Server Administration option in control panal.
Please see the attachment for configuration.
But Here every time it is sending the from mail id is taken from whatever the username I have given in configuration.

But My requirement ,it should be send mail with given from mail id...How it is happen...Can any one help me.

Again, yet another reason why YOU SHOULD NOT USE GMAIL FOR SMTP.

Gmail is not a relay - if they were, you be getting all kinds of spam originating from them.

You have no visibility on logs to see what gmail is getting, changing, or doing w/ the email. For all we know, Liferay is plugging along just fine but gmail is the one making the changes.

Change to a real mail server and evaluate your results. There's plenty that you can deploy locally, such as the Mercury MTA which is java based.

But DO NOT USE GMAIL AS YOUR SMTP SERVER!
