How to give Add New permission of Asset Publisher for a custom role?

I just created one custom regular role and gave some permissions... Now "Add New" button is visible in Asset Publisher portlet, but the user belongs to that custom role is not able to add any assets...the window is not opening properly. How can I give "Add New" permission for Asset Publisher portlet for my custom role? Please help ...

Is it a bug? I am doing the same on Liferay 6.1.1 and the popup opens with the title "New Web Content" and the back buton, but the form to publish the content is not visible!
