Journal article service : delete method does not delete MBDiscussion ?

Hi all,

I use JournalArticle service to add journal articles.
I noticed that when a journal asset is created, a MBDiscussion item is also created, with the corresponding AssetEntry.

When using the delete function on the JournalArticle service, wouldn't it make sense to delete all those items at once ? I just don't get why the MBDiscussion isn't deleted. With my article gone, I have what look like orphans entries in my AssetEntry table.

Seems like a bug. If you're using the latest version of liferay, how about creating an issue in liferay's jira. You'll need to give a sample code so other people would be able to replicate the error.
