where i can change the database settings in liferay 6.1.1ce ga2 version

Hi All,


I have downloaded the bundled with tomcat and i want to change the database settings,where i have to change these settings.

And also tell me how can develop the sample portlets.I have an experience with development of liferay set up with portal src code , plugins,tomcat separately.

Now it is new for me .
