patching-tool, and removing installed zip files from the patches folder?

We're using LR 6.0.12 EE, we recently started using the patching-tool and have successfully applied all outstanding patches in one go in our preproduction environment.

We have a question about the the patches folder within the patching-tool. Currently all the patches we have deployed to date are in this folder. The steps don't mention it, but should we remove the zip files from this folder when they have been deployed (with 'patching-tool install' command) or leave them there?

If we leave them there will they be re-installed the next time we run 'patching-tool install' or does it ignore patches that have already been installed?

You do not have to remove the zip files from patches folder leave them in that folder only.

Next time when you run 'patching-tool install', patches that have already been installed will be install again.
