Liferay Intalio integration

Hello,
I am trying to discover how to integrate Liferay portal with processes from Intalio Designer.
I downloaded Liferay-intalio with ui-fw portlet in it (it is tempo GUI), but when I add the portlet into my own page in Liferay portal, no process instances appear.
Is it possible to deploy processes directly to the Liferay-intalio server(it is running on tomcat)? or do I have to deploy processes to standalone Intalio BPMS Server and then somehow connect Liferay with this server(it is running on tomcat too)?

Do you have any step by step manual, what is necessary to run processes in Liferay-deployment,configuration,...
Any experience?
