install .lpkg file on liferay-portal-6.1.0-ce-ga1from marketplace?

hi ,
I download theme plugins from marketplace,the file is .lpkg,not war file.installing the.lpkg file from control pannel,but failed.
How can i install the theme plugins .lpkg file?
please help me ,thank you

You can copy the .lpkg file into Liferay's 'Hot Deploy' directory to manually install the theme. This directory is named something like like liferay-portal-6.1.1-ce-ga2/deploy

I tried it according your methods,i don't see anything from control pannel .
I do the specific steps are as follows:
1. copy .lpkg file to D:\liferay\liferay-portal-tomcat-6.1.0\liferay-portal-6.1.0-ce-ga1\deploy.right now ,i can see the file ,but the file disappered In a very short period of time。
2. i can see the informations:

3. i restart the tomcat ,use test logon ,i can not see the theme from look and feel.

Once you install a theme, you have to apply it to a page or a site. You can do this through the Manage -> Site Pages menu item, to select from the available themes you have installed. See the docs for more detail.

What you're trying to do will not work. The plugins from Marketplace is for Liferay Portal 6.1.1+.

For Liferay Portal 6.1.0, please download plugins from sf.net.

i have install .lpkg file but it isn't a theme..web form and mail for CE.
can i put it in the same directory you put theme on it (liferay-portal-6.1.1-ce-ga2/deploy)

En mi caso me hacia falta añadir el archivo portal-ext.properties:

Create a portal-ext.properties file in $LIFERAY_HOME (one level above $JBOSS_HOME and add the following properties:

NOTE: The autodeploy folder must be set with the full name of the folder - you can’t use any variables to define the location

auto.deploy.jboss.dest.dir=${jboss.home.dir}/server/default/deploy
auto.d­eploy.deploy.dir=C:/JBoss-<version>/deploy

Is there something I must do to enable the hot deploy? the .lpkg stays in that directory and does not move. :-/
